Cowbridge Comprehensive Hampers and food collection Scheme.

Yet again a successful annual event at Cowbridge Comprehensive School.

Years 7 & 8 form groups produced fantastic hampers to be judged for first, second and third place. Head Boy, Luke Johansson- Brown and his Deputies, Harriet Utley, Molly Price, Genevieve Kirk and Sam Viney found it hard to choose the winners, as they were all fabulously creative and of a high standard.

The winners were:

1st- 7.6

2nd- 8.5

3rd- 7.1

1st for creativity- 8.4

The food collection for Years 9-13 was also a great success. All forms had a ‘food theme’ to collect, which then got distributed to many good causes in the community. Some students were also very kind and made money donations to the causes.

There are lots of people who deserve a thank you for making this scheme a success.

Thank you to all the students and staff who contributed to the Hamper and food collection. Also a thank you to all Form tutors, School Council members and Class representatives who helped with creating the hampers collecting and delivering the food items. A final thank you goes to Ms White and Mrs Davies (LRC) who have always helped in the organising of the scheme.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
