Jiu Jitsu international award

This summer seven past and present pupils of Cowbridge Comprehensive School represented Wales on behalf of the Vale Jiu Jitsu Club at Jiu Jitsu International 2016 attended by over 250 participants and held in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. The pupils were:

The senior team including Toby Walker, Liam Sloan, Tomos MacArthur, Jake Walker and Robert Murray won the International Display Competition competing against teams from ten different countries and are hoping to defend their title of International Display Champions in South Africa in 2019.

The Vale Jiu Jitsu club would like to thank the school for all the support and encouragement the given to these pupils in promoting the advantages of participating in sport that eventually led to them taking up Jiu Jitsu.
