Karate: Chloe Gravell

Chloe Gravell (Year 7) is the 2017 Karate Wales Welsh Open Champion - Kyokushin Style Kata (Age 9-12 mixed category).

Chloe is a committed and enthusiastic member of Cowbridge Karate Jutsu Kai, a long-established local organisation which is currently thriving. Aside from her own training, Chloe also volunteers her time to assist with teaching the junior class.

The Karate Wales Welsh Open Championships were held at Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre on 25th June and spectators were treated to an exceptional performance resulting in a well-deserved gold medal for Chloe. The performance was echoed by a number of Cowbridge Karate competitors with a fantastic overall tournament placing of sixth out of a total of twenty-eight competing organisations from the UK and Ireland.
